CONSTITUTION OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL ELECTION PLANNING COMMITTEE
The Peoples Democratic Party, Akwa Ibom state chapter being conscious that the three year term of the existing Local Government Councils in the State, will expire in few months, has in her vintage proactivity, constituted the planning committee for local government elections, pending when the Akwa Ibom State Independent Electoral Commission will announce the election timetable.
The committee as approved by the State Working Committee has the following persons:
1. Hon. Pat Ifon Chairman
2. Prince Ukpong Akpabio Secretary
3. Rt. Hon. Alice Ekpenyong Member
4. Engr. Uwem Okoko Member
5. Prince Enobong Uwah Member
6. Mrs Mmeme Akpabio Member
7. Hon. Saturday Akpan Member
Meanwhile, the duo of Obong Paul Ekpo and Hon. Udo Ekpenyong are to serve as Advisers to the committee.
The committee stands inaugurated and the terms of reference of the committee will be made available to them.
